We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Mayrim Aguilar
I’m Ms. May. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I was born in Dallas, Tx. My whole family is from chihuahua, Mexico. I love spending time with family, friends and traveling to new places exploring different foods and cultures.
Child care experience: 2 years
Education Background: Collin College (Business)
My Favorite Thing About Working with Children: My favorite thing about working with kids would be watching them grown and learn along with the love and smiles everyday.
In My Personal Time: Going to the gym.

Ms. Kylie Alcorn
Hi! My name is Kylie Alcorn, and I am going into my junior year at the University of Arkansas. I plan on earning my master’s degree in childhood education and becoming a teacher! I graduated from Allen High School in 2024, and I have two younger brothers and two dogs. I love having the opportunity to work with kids, and I look forward to getting to know your children! Ms. K is a junior in college and worked at the Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center for 2 years. While attending school in Arkansas, she works at Trinity Preparatory Day School in the infant and toddler room.
She loves watching children grow, develop their personalities, and form friendships! Her favorite family tradition is making homemade donuts on Christmas Day. In her personal time, she loves spending time with friends and family, being active, and reading.
