Our Toddler Classroom

An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.

At Primrose School of Eagan, our toddler classroom is designed to support active exploration while keeping your child safe, healthy, and well cared for every day.

  • Regular Disinfecting: High-touch toys and surfaces are sanitized frequently throughout the day to keep germs at bay.
  • Handwashing Focus: Toddlers and staff practice frequent handwashing, woven into our curriculum and daily routines.
  • Illness Awareness: Teachers are trained to recognize signs of illness, with classroom signage keeping health top of mind.
  • Ongoing Staff Training: Continuous health and safety training, including first aid and CPR certification, ensures our team is always prepared.
  • Illness Policy: Any toddler or staff member with respiratory symptoms or fever must stay home until fever-free for 24 hours.
  • Individual Bedding: Each toddler has a personal cot and blanket, laundered weekly to maintain a clean rest environment.
  • Advanced Air Purification: Our Bryant Evolution™ Air Purifier — the same technology used in hospitals — re-purifies indoor air up to 8 times per hour for a consistently clean breathing environment.
  • Low Teacher-to-Toddler Ratios: We maintain optimal ratios to ensure every child receives attentive, personalized supervision throughout the day.
  • Safe School Plan: A customized safety plan is posted in the classroom for quick teacher reference in any situation.

We would love to show you the toddler classroom in person and answer any questions about our care practices.
