At Primrose School of Eagan, our kindergarten classroom is designed to build a strong foundation for learning in an environment that is safe, clean, and ready for every child every day.
- Frequent Sanitization: High-touch toys and surfaces are disinfected regularly throughout the day to keep the classroom clean.
- Handwashing Routine: Children and staff practice frequent handwashing integrated into daily activities and routines.
- Illness Monitoring: Teachers are trained to recognize signs of illness, with classroom signage supporting ongoing awareness.
- Staff Preparedness: Continuous health and safety training, including first aid and CPR certification, ensures our team is always ready.
- Illness Policy: Any child or staff member with respiratory symptoms or fever must stay home until fever-free for 24 hours.
- Clean Bedding: Individual cots and blankets are provided and laundered weekly to maintain a hygienic rest environment.
- Advanced Air Purification: Our Bryant Evolution™ Air Purifier — the same technology used in hospitals — re-purifies indoor air up to 8 times per hour for a consistently clean breathing environment.
- Balanced Teacher-to-Child Ratios: Appropriate ratios ensure every child receives safe, attentive care and supervision throughout the day.
- Safety Plan Access: A customized Safe School Plan is posted in the classroom for quick teacher reference in any situation.
