I feel comfortable leaving my daughter at Primrose, and that's a really big deal to me. I trust the staff with my child. She is very happy and has loved every teacher she's had. Seeing her learn and grow in such an encouraging environment has been a privilege to watch. Everyone really seems to care about what they do and that's everything to me.

“Hi, I am Anne Lewis, the owner and operator of the Primrose School of Shawnee.
I’d like to tell you about myself, my family and my Primrose Story. Growing up, my parents instilled strong family values in me that I continue to pass on to this day. One of the most rewarding things that I have ever done is raise my children! With my children being older now, I want to get involved in the community and make a difference in the world. I aim to provide the same high standard of care that I expect for my own children. This is what led me to opening the Primrose School of Shawnee. Primrose Schools provides a nurturing environment that feels like an extension of your own family.
Originally from Indiana, I graduated from Northern Illinois University and moved to Kansas. I have franchiser business experience and I have experience running a center and childcare. I understand the daunting challenges of balancing a career and family. At the school, I plan to handle the day-to-day operations, working closely with parents, children and staff. I am married to my awesome husband, Phil. I have three loving and amazing children; Alyssa, Abigail, and Dalton.

Children receive the best care from the teachers while also expanding their skills in fine and gross motor skills. There is a perfect balance of learning, indoor and outdoor play, and quiet time. Even the snacks and meals are wonderful! Both of my children have grown in their time at Primrose School of Shawnee socially, emotionally, and academically, and I can’t thank the staff enough for the love and care we have received.
