Hello! We’re the proud owners, Alan and Kelly Maria, of Primrose School of Henderson at Green Valley!
Our Primrose journey began in anticipation of Alan’s retirement from the U.S. Marine Corps. We were searching for opportunities that would allow us to put down roots and build a bright future for our daughter, Kathleen, while at the same time giving back to our community. With experience ranging from managing a private school’s business office to working in marketing, event management, and development for multiple nonprofits nationwide, Kelly has a diverse professional career. We are thrilled to use our experience and passion for the community to help children foster a lifelong love of learning.
Our personal philosophies center around giving back. Throughout Alan’s military career we have found the most joy and personal fulfillment while volunteering with various organizations. It is through volunteerism that we have been fortunate enough to find community in all the places we’ve lived. When we’re not volunteering, we love the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and discovering new and interesting things to do in our town.
At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
