Franchise Owner

Kranthi and Zarna Chiluka

Welcome, my name is Kranthi Chiluka and my wife, Zarna Chiluka, are proud owners of Primrose School of Carol Stream. We are honored to have the opportunity to serve the families of this community and bring the Primrose Experience of premier early education and care.

My journey in the world of education began when I saw my mother teach kids from our house.  The immense joy and fulfillment that came to her from providing an environment for children to grow and learn, made me realize that at some point in my life that I too wanted to be an educator. However, I also had a keen interest in learning Math, Sciences and Engineering.  This led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and an MBA in Economics.

I have worked for an IT Services and Consulting company, Accenture, for 26 years as a Managing Director. Having two children of my own and watching them grow as learners, my lifelong love of learning was reignited.  Therefore, leading me to early education. I decided to change my career and join the Primrose family.

I also come from a family of educators. My wife, Zarna Chiluka, is happy to accompany me on this Primrose venture.  She has been teaching for 20+ years in the Schaumburg School District as a Language Arts Teacher.  Additionally, my mom is a retired Chicago Public Schools (CPS) teacher.

Creating a nurturing learning environment is at the heart of our school. Community engagement and building strong relationships are priorities for my wife and me, and I will continue to emphasize them as I lead and manage the school.

My role at Primrose School of Carol Stream is to ensure that we are providing excellent care services for children, the right foundation, and spark light bulb moments so children can grow their active minds, healthy bodies and happy hearts while providing peace of mind for our parents.

We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

We are excited to welcome you to the Primrose Family.

See What Families Are Saying

My son has been with Primrose since he was 10 months old. He is now 3 and a half. In short, for parents that consider group childcare to be their first investment in their children's education - Primrose is the best out there. The teachers and staff are nurturing, professional but warm, and extremely knowledgeable in education and child development. My son is thriving socially, emotionally, and academically. Every week he is excited to learn and bring home new concepts. I also believe working with his teachers has made my husband and I better prepared and knowledgeable parents as we encounter new challenges and milestones as my son grows. I would recommend Primrose of Carol Stream to any parent looking for excellent quality childcare.
We have been very pleased with the teachers. We have seen progress in both of our girls. They both have progressed in reading and recognition of what they are reading, academic skills and even emotional skills. We really believe in their school and enjoyed it there. We highly recommend.
My son has been under their care for a full year now and we have been very happy with our decision. I am an Illinois public school teacher in Primary Education. I am in tune with Early Childhood education. It was extremely important for me to choose a setting that provides authentic and rich experiences, giving my son the exact type of attention towards skills, especially social/emotional skills, that he would be getting from myself. I hear of other daycares/early preschool’s giving screen time under their care, and I can assure you staff at this Primrose are always working hard themselves no matter what. I continue to be impressed by the staff Primrose hires; I trust their knowledge and understanding towards what infants to preschoolers should have. They communicate so well and I always feel in the loop, something I truly take to heart. Both the Leadership Team and teachers are all so warm, communicative, and their dedication shows. The Leadership Team is inside all the classrooms and knows your child, which I think speaks volumes. Their curriculum is well-rounded, developmentally appropriate, and I know it’s being used and continually developed to the fullest extent. The food that is served includes fruits and vegetables, meals are very well rounded and thoughtfully planned, which was also important for my husband and I. We trust our son is getting experiences that we simply cannot provide ourselves, and it is so worth it. Thank you Primrose of Carol Stream!
They are very deliberate with the care and needs of the children. They feed them a healthy diet, trying new foods often. They are very open and available to parents with feedback as well. Overall they have been great!
