Franchise Owner

Kerry Stockman

Meet Kerry Stockman -proud Franchise Owner of Primrose School of Apex. As a longtime resident of the Triangle, Kerry began her entrepreneurial journey in 2011. She is thrilled to bring the Primrose experience offering premier early education and care to families in the Apex community.

Kerry has 2 children, Anya, her 19 year old daughter and Cooper, her 9 year old son. When looking for opportunities to invest in something that would positively impact the community Kerry made the decision to open her own Primrose school. With her extensive background working with children, she knew it was the right fit for their family.

Kerry, originally from Massachusetts, relocated to North Carolina to be closer to family. She attended Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She also attended Northeastern University in Massachusetts and earned a Master of Science in Counseling. Kerry worked in the mental health and foster cares field for 15 years, always knowing she wanted to work with students very early on to have the biggest impact on development and education.

Kerry’s goal is to offer an atmosphere where children can grow their Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts and provide parents with peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for and receiving a premier education.

See What Families Are Saying

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Primrose for our daughter! From the very beginning, Primrose stood out to us due to its thoughtful and well-rounded curriculum. The program is not only intentional but also designed to grow with the students, providing a seamless transition from one stage to the next. The transparency and communication from the staff have been exceptional, keeping us informed of any changes or transitions along the way. One of the things we truly value is how much Primrose encourages family involvement. They host a variety of fun and engaging events, and these moments have helped create a strong sense of community and allowed us to feel more connected to our daughter's school life. As our daughter prepares for kindergarten next year, we have full confidence that Primrose has equipped her with the skills and confidence she needs for a smooth transition. We're so grateful for the positive impact Primrose has had on her early learning journey!
My daughter and I love Primrose! The staff is so friendly, and my daughter is learning so much. Very happy we chose to go here!
We love the endless patience, kindness, and creativity teachers and stuff bring to our children's lives each day. Your dedication goes beyond just caring for them- it's about nurturing, encouraging, and inspiring them to be their best selves. We are incredibly grateful for the love, energy, and wisdom you pour into every moment. You truly make a difference in our children's lives, and we appreciate everything you do.
