What curriculum does Primrose use?

What programs does Primrose offer and for which ages?
As the nation’s premier early education and care leader, Primrose schools serve children from 6 weeks up to 5 years of age. Additionally, some locations may offer before- and after-school care and summer programs for elementary-aged children.
What hours do Primrose schools operate?
Most Primrose school locations are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., though exact hours may vary by location since each Primrose school is independently owned and operated. What does an average day look like for a student?
For our youngest infants through our private Kindergarten students, each day at Primrose is filled with purposeful, meaningful learning experiences that are crafted considering long-standing early childhood development theories, modern wisdom and research-informed educational practices. Having an established routine gives children a sense of security and confidence. Are meals provided?
Each Primrose location serves a family-style lunch created by a dedicated chef, along with a morning and afternoon snack, all of which is included in tuition. Primrose maintains Balanced Menus to ensure that all children have access to a variety of nutritious foods that contribute to healthy growth. What safety precautions does Primrose have?

Are uniforms required?
Students in the Private Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms are required to wear uniforms, which helps to build a strong sense of community within the school, create an atmosphere of belonging and boost school spirit. What license(s) and accreditations does Primrose have?
Today, all Primrose schools are required to obtain accreditation. Accredited programs are nationally recognized for their level of quality, so families know their children are receiving exceptional care and education at Primrose schools. Primrose School Franchising Company is nationally accredited by Cognia, which uses research-based standards for early childhood education and quality. In addition to third-party accreditation, Primrose School Franchising Company implements an internal accreditation process called Service Excellence Assurance, which helps ensure adherence to Primrose brand standards for quality, health and safety.
How does Primrose measure my child’s progress?
Primrose Schools uses a Balanced Assessment approach which includes developmental screeners, nationally normed academic measures and observational tools to represent the “whole child” and help provide the best support to students and their families. Primrose Pre-Kindergarten students consistently demonstrate high achievement levels, with 97% of students tested exceeding benchmarks for demonstrating kindergarten readiness, based on a representative sample of students assessed in Spring 2024 using the Bracken School Readiness Assessment 4th Edition.
