Franchise Owners

Jackie Rothermich, Joe and Lori Ruppert

Welcome to the Primrose School at St. Charles Community College! My name is Jackie Rothermich. I along with my parents Joe and Lori Ruppert represent the ownership team at this wonderful school.

Joe and Lori Ruppert built the first Primrose school in the Saint Louis area in January of 2015, and it quickly became the premier Early Childhood school in the area. I have been blessed to have had my two children attend Primrose and benefit socially, emotionally, physically and academically. I am incredibly honored to be a part of the Primrose family and continue with the legacy my parents have started of providing high-quality education and care to families in the St. Charels area.

Prior to making the decision to become a Primrose franchise owner, I worked at the Boeing Company in various finance and contracts positions for more than 13 years. I know it might seem like a big jump moving from corporate finance to becoming an owner of a private preschool, and while I loved what I did at Boeing, I kept feeling as though something was missing. I had a strong desire to pursue something that I felt passionate about, proud of, and fulfilled by. Being a part of the Primrose family already and seeing children come to school filled with happiness and excitement, watching students have those lightbulb moments in the classroom as they learn and grow, and witnessing parents have a sense of relief and confidence knowing their children are being taken care of, I quickly realized that Primrose was the fulfillment I was looking for.

Who children become is as important as what they know is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it is a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
