Franchise Owners

Dan and Shannan Meyer

Welcome to the Primrose School of Centennial!

We, Dan and Shannan Meyer, are the proud owners of this school as well as the Primrose School of Parker and the Primrose School at Lowry.  Primrose Schools has been a part of our lives and family since 2006. We have been successful Primrose School owners for over 10 years and Shannan has been a dedicated early childhood professional for over 20 years.

Together, we promise to place the care and education of children first and will always strive to be a great workplace for our wonderful teachers and staff. Both of our children graduated from a local Primrose school and we know firsthand the importance of high-quality early childhood education and care.

Please reach out to our leadership team to learn more about our school, and we look forward to meeting you soon!

See What Families Are Saying

Leaving your child with someone is the hardest thing to do. Primrose has made it so much easier for us. Our daughter has been a Primrose student since she was four months old. We know that the amazing staff members are caring for, teaching, and nurturing our daughter each day and are so thankful for them! The communication from Sara and the rest of the staff is excellent. Even during the height of the pandemic, they made us feel included in our daughter’s care and the things happening at the school. We can’t imagine anyone else caring for our baby and are happy to be part of the Primrose family!
As a working mom, the hardest day of my life was leaving my twelve-week-young baby in the care of someone else. My partner and I are so thankful for our Primrose community, and our babies have adored their teachers in every classroom as they continue to “move up.” If you are as terrified of trusting anyone else to care for and love your child as I was, then get to know the Primrose School of Centennial - and set your mind and heart and soul at ease. And then, cherish all the moments as you witness your children thrive!
As working parents, we interviewed many childcare facilities in the area (even before our elder son was born) and simply did not feel comfortable with the choices in child care until we toured Primrose. We immediately felt a connection with the directors and teachers, so we enrolled. When we moved houses, we tried to switch our boys to a different child care facility and soon found that not all child care centers are created equal. We enrolled our boys at another "school" located close to our new home and quickly found that our children were miserable. The quality of teachers and staff did not even come close to Primrose. Whenever we would pick up the kids, the teachers were texting instead of paying attention to the children, and the classrooms were completely chaotic. Our elder son was bored in class, having mastered the curriculum at Primrose months ago, he refused to eat and cried the entire time he was at the new school. We felt terrible and supremely guilty about the situation. It was obvious; we made a terrible mistake and missed Primrose. So, after a week's attendance at the new school, we called Primrose and begged them to take us back, which, thankfully, they did without hesitation. People thought we were crazy to drive the extra 30 minutes each way to have our kids attend Primrose, but child care is a decision that is not to be taken lightly. You cannot underestimate the importance of ensuring your child's safety, happiness, education and overall wellbeing. The staff and teachers at Primrose Centennial genuinely cared for our children, and the kids were excited to go to school and to learn. As working parents, it's difficult to leave your children every morning, but the Primrose teachers and staff made that transition very easy for us. We will forever be grateful to the staff and teachers at Primrose Centennial for providing a nurturing environment to our children. We have been there for 3 years and have seen our children blossom and thrive intellectually, socially and emotionally. We LOVE Primrose Centennial and feel absolutely confident that we made the right choice.
Amazing is the word I would use to describe Primrose. The teachers are truly exceptional; we have watched our son flourish while attending Primrose. Our son's teachers have gone above and beyond with him, they recognized his advanced learning capabilities and worked with him ensuring to keep him challenged; we know, thanks to Primrose, he will thrive in kindergarten. They provide timely communication with all the parents and are always putting little thank yous and events together. They are always ensuring the safety and security of the children and building. Every time we had a question, they addressed it immediately, true professionals. Finally, we love the commitment to charitable giving. We really feel like Primrose has become part of our family!!
Our older daughter has attended Primrose Centennial since she was a toddler (age 2.5) all the way through Private Kindergarten. We have been consistently pleased with the quality of education she has received from the energetic, caring, and passionate teachers and other staff members! Our daughter loves going to school and is more than prepared to continue her educational journey into elementary school in the fall! Our younger daughter, who is now 21 months old, started at Primrose Centennial almost a year ago in the Young Toddler class. She also loves going to school! Ms. Shanon, Ms. Naqueena (Pre-K), and Ms. Kristin (Private Kindergarten) are just a few of the hard-working, passionate, and talented teachers that our girls have had at Primrose Centennial!
