Our Philanthropy and Advocacy
We believe that every child represents the promise of a better tomorrow.
For more than 40 years, Primrose Schools® has partnered with parents, children, staff and the communities we serve to make a difference in many young lives, especially those children and families who are underserved. We call this the Primrose Promise℠.

Philanthropy for All Children
Primrose Schools Children's Foundation®
The Primrose Schools Children’s Foundation®, the charitable arm of Primrose Schools, is a not-for-profit organization that combines funding from Primrose schools and our national support center in order to make a national impact locally, regionally and nationally. Focused on early childhood education and care, the Primrose Schools Children’s Foundation has contributed more than $5 million to national charities and child-focused organizations.
Philanthropy in Schools
Primrose Promise Giving Events help students learn firsthand the joy of giving back and helping others through simple projects throughout the year.

Spring Fling
This fun, carnival-themed annual event is designed for Primrose schools across the country to raise funding for the local charity of their choice as well as the Primrose Schools Children’s Foundation®.

Og's Book Drive
Named for Primrose Friend Og® the bookworm, this book drive takes place each February. Primrose students across the country collect some of their favorite books to share with children in their communities, donating new and gently used books to local libraries, hospitals, schools and nonprofit organizations.

Caring & Giving
Each November, children at Primrose schools learn they have the power to improve the lives of others through the Caring and Giving Food Drive. Children do simple chores at home to earn money, buy the food during a field trip to the grocery store, then donate it to a local food bank.
Research and Innovation
Research shows that children’s experiences in the first five years play a significant role in overall health, confidence and success later in life. Unfortunately, more than 50% of U.S. families live in a child care desert, meaning they do not have sufficient access to providers. Through a variety of efforts, Primrose Schools is working to bring high-quality early education and care to more families.
West Lakes Early Learning Center
In partnership with AdventHealth, Bainum Family Foundation, Lift Orlando and Purpose-Built Communities, Primrose Schools helped launch an innovative, scholarship-based early education and care center for underserved families. The West Lakes Early Learning Center provides high-quality early childhood education and care as well as comprehensive health, wellness and social services to children and families, and we intend to scale this program to more communities.

Cognia
A nonprofit organization dedicated to improving educational opportunities for all learners, this global network of enthusiastic educators works to help strengthen schools through a holistic approach to continuous improvement through accreditation and certification, assessment, professional learning, and customized improvement services.
Our Advocacy Work
As a pioneer in early education and care, Primrose Schools and its leadership are sought after by decision-makers in the child care industry and beyond for their advocacy and expertise. Through strategic efforts and partnerships, Primrose Schools influences local, state and federal legislation to advocate for expanding access to high-quality early education and care as we forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.

Early Care and Education Consortium
ECEC serves as the unified collective voice for providers of high-quality programs and services that support families and children from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, and it advocates for strong federal and state policies that brings quality and accessibility to scale. Through our work with ECEC, we are collaborating in the development of transformational solutions to achieve a more equitable and sustainable early education and care system for America.
