We’re open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Holiday closures include New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We also close for an extended stretch each year from December 24 through January 2, so we’d recommend checking our published calendar as the holidays approach.

Yes, Primrose School of Apex has an extensive artificial turf yard with swing modules, a basketball hoop zone, splash water features, and a fire truck climber, giving children daily outdoor play as part of their regular schedule.

Our playgrounds are carefully monitored to ensure children can explore, play and learn safely. Staff remain actively involved in children’s play experiences, perform daily safety checks and maintain constant supervision. Daily safety inspections, ongoing environmental monitoring and weather-related precautions help create a secure outdoor experience for every child.

It is not a requirement. We tailor potty training support to each child’s individual pace, working hand-in-hand with families to keep the approach consistent at school and at home.

Yes, Our on-site chef prepares lunch and snacks fresh each day in our own culinary kitchen, all part of our Balanced Menus.

We offer a morning snack rather than a full breakfast, so we’d ask that your child has eaten before arriving.

Our lunch menus include favorites like chicken tacos with mashed black beans and mango, chicken Alfredo with broccoli and pears, and cheesy chicken and rice with peas and peaches, with a vegetarian option built in most days of the week. All foods and meals are age-appropriate.

We work closely with each family to build an individualized plan, so your child eats safely and confidently at our school.

Our teachers and kitchen staff are trained to accommodate gluten, wheat and celiac needs, peanut and tree nut allergies, milk and dairy allergies and egg allergies, as well as vegetarian and vegan diets.

Yes, every team member at Primrose School of Apex completes a detailed background check before joining our school and maintains current CPR and first-aid certification.

Primrose School of Apex maintains teacher-to-child ratios that meet or fall below the requirements of the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education for every age group. Smaller ratios mean more one-on-one attention, so teachers have time to get to know your child individually.

Every classroom at Primrose School of Apex practices a Safe School Plan monthly, keeping our team ready to respond calmly and quickly. The plan stays current, and families stay informed.

We use an app to keep families connected throughout the day by sharing photos, classroom activities, curriculum information, nap updates, and diaper change and bathroom visit notifications.

The app also includes two-way messaging, so you can stay in touch with your child’s teachers whenever you’d like.

We value open, ongoing communication and connect with families in person at drop-off and pick-up to discuss your child’s day, answer questions and share what we’re noticing in the classroom.
